Lara Connolly

Lara Connolly knew she wanted to work with horses from the age of eight when she attended her first horse camp. A San Francisco Bay Area native, she grew up riding in Los Altos Hills. While attending college at University of San Francisco, Lara began her professional career working under Jeannie Scalise at Avalon Hunter/Jumpers. After graduation, Lara made riding and training her full time job, working with John Charlebois and Bert Mutch. While working at Charlebois Farm, Lara honed her skills riding a variety of horses from hunters to jumpers to ponies. She then went to work with Andrea Correll at Blackstone Farm where she had extensive opportunities to travel with clients to a variety of horse shows throughout the US and Canada.
